Always ahead of the norm…HUGO fragrances challenge traditional rules and ideals, applying an original, creative and individual approach to everything it does.
Bursting on the scene in 1995, the classic HUGO Man fragrance was inspired by the unique shape of a hip flask
The nonconformist bottle design instantly became the signature of the free thinker, and… an icon was born.
It was the same unconventional spirit that launched the highly successful HUGO Create global design contest in February 2008. The brief is simple: apply your creative vision to an original graphic design of the iconic HUGO Man fragrance bottle.
To date, HUGO Create has attracted over 44,000 amazing visuals, by 18,000 participants from 108 different countries.
As of September 1st 2010, with the launch of a new website, engaging content and a greater social media presence, we’re taking HUGO Create to a broader community.
It’ll be a hotbed of new ideas, expanding for the first time beyond design into areas such as music, fashion, art and culture. A creative hub at the heart of HUGO where innovation rules and ideas flourish. Every touchpoint with the brand will be an opportunity for consumers to co-create with HUGO.
To help us engage the creative community with an always-on dialogue is our very outgoing and switched on community manager and blogger. There to report back from the cutting edge of the blogosphere and social media world.
Our blogger – the voice of HUGO create – will publish ideas to nurture and inspire our very own community, reaching out to creative forums and blogs.
